Merry Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve morning we went to the hospital and delivered cookies to all the nurse's stations. John's practice has the tradition so we went to help out. That morning and on the way out there I got Alex to say "Merry Christmas Eve." It was so cute! When we got home we did our Christmas since John had to round and was on call Christmas day. Alex had 10 boxes to open from us. I didn't realize he had so many!
Here he is with his new baseball tee from us. He also got books, videos, balls, and matchbox cars. He kept saying, "open present." By the time this day had arrived he knew exactly what "presents" were.

Before he opened presents...ohhhh...the anticipation!

After we did our Christmas with him we met Jimmy, Emily, and Parker for lunch and then came back to our house while Alex napped. Finally, he woke up and we headed back to their house to open presents. Here he is in his ho ho hat posing with santa.

He got a basketball goal from Papa and Grammy and we had to put it together right away! He loves to "shoot!"

Santa brought him a new book to read with Papa. He,of course, had to help open it because all of his presents were already opened.:)

Dar Dar gave him this "ho ho hat" in Nashville and he would wear it all the time. He gave out presents everywhere we went so I think it made him feel special:)

That night we went to Mimi and Granddan's house to do Christmas with Emily's side of the family. He got a new car from Mimi and Granddan. I've never laughed so hard in my life when I saw him ride it. It moved so slow and he didn't really have a clue what was going on.

Being Santa

Helping Granddan open his new flat screen TV. Once again, Alex had opened all of his presents and was helping others. He's so sweet!
