Yankees baseball

Alex's regular season baseball is sadly, over...but do not fear! He made all-stars! I am excited for him and very proud of him, but in the same breath, practice every night is killing me (and today was only the 3rd night). He loves it though-but even I think he is a little tired! We just keep reminding him as long as he tries his best and has fun we are proud of him.

Isn't that the sweetest face ever? I have to throw this in here because I'm not sure where else to talk about it but this boy is C-O-U-N-T-R-Y! He has this long drawl to some of his words at the end of sentences and it cracks me up. People always talked about my southern accent growing up, but I don't think I talked anything close to how this boy talks. Example: "Momma, Did you see me? I was so faaa-ust!" That last word is supposed to be fast-yes, with only one syllable. Another example: Momma, watch me swing this baaa-ut!" Really??? I don't know how this happened. It's like overnight he started adding extra syllables and the long drawl. It's crazy!

I'm gonna brag for a minute-this boy has been an awesome hitter this season! It's amazing! At one point, and yes, we do keep score and stats, he was 24 for 25 at bats. He was so proud of himself! (and so were we!)

Mimi's birthday (and some more egg hunting!)

Hunting with Mimi.
Avery and Alex love going to Aunt Kristy and Uncle David's house because of all their cats!:)

Mimi opening her presents:)
And the kids love the piano too!

Football!
Alex loves playing this game at their house. It is great for math skills! But I don't even know the name of it.

Happy Birthday Mimi! We love you!

Easter Sunday and Papaw's birthday party

Easter morning we woke up and the kids were eager to dive into their baskets! My friend, Catherine, painted their baskets for me. I LOVE them-so yes, lots of pictures of them:)

After church we headed to Jimmy and Emily's for lunch and Papaw's birthday celebration. The kids always love the egg hunt.

The prize egg!!

Being the baby, Avery always gets a little help...no harm in that:).

Avery didn't really care for the money in her prize egg. I'm sure Grammy was trying to talk Avery into giving her the money-ha!
The three A's-Avery, Abbie, and Alex.

Alex broke his basket:( I was so sad! BUT I will find a way to fix it!
Colored bubbles, I stripped them down...there was way too much white for those bubbles to stain.
Easter lunch.

Playing Candyland.
No Warren family dinner is complete without a man sleeping:)

93 candles for Papaw! I was put in charge of putting the candles on the cake in a shape of a 93 but then everybody (Greg!) had an opinion!
Cake fire!
The candles wouldn't blow out. So everybody pitched in some spit, literally.

Happy 93rd birthday Papaw! We love you!

Hunting and playing with neighbors

My sweet new neighbors had their neices(and their parents) in town for a while over the Easter weekend. Anouk and Vienne were the cutest things! We were so glad they came to visit! Avery and Alex think they came all the way from Pennsylvania just to see them...not their Uncle Jesse and Aunt Justina-haha! Avery and Vienne had the same bike helmet and they thought that was cool! We had an Easter egg hunt and then hung out one late afternoon and let the kids jump in the bouncy house.

Alex and Anouk had a great time playing together!

Vienne hunting.
Checking out their loot in Justina's garage.

How sweet are these faces? I think Vienne had had enough of the Warren's by the time we took this picture:)

Alex's class Easter party

When I arrived the little "bunnies" were hopping outside for their egg hunt.

All done hunting!
Ella Kate and Alex.
Alex and Hayes.
Alex, Paxton, and Tyler.
How cute is this cake? This is why I never sign up for the cupcakes or cake...I couldn't do this.

His "hunting" bag.
Some of Alex's art...
A teacher made all the kids in school a bunny. See the cd? Cool huh?
He told me this was Jesus on the cross.
