March fun days!

Our new Amphitheater opened up and they had an event with police cars and fire trucks.

They were a little subdued...it was weird!:(

Soccer action shot!

Joanne and Bill (Mimi's cousins) came to visit one night. We went over and saw them the next morning before we went to swim lessons. Alex crawled right up next to Joanne with his Alabama basketball program and immediately began telling her all he knew. "Trever Releford is the shortest on the team, but he is fast..." He is crazy and obsessed might be a better word.:) He also knows all the basketball player's names and numbers. Every. Single. One.

John Thomas came over to play one morning. They had a fun time!

At Cooper's birthday party this little boy was sitting so close to Alex-I thought it was cute.

Avery loves the Corder's golf cart!

He was teaching all the other kids the game of basketball-he's a rule follower and makes sure they all know how to play.

Still playing at Cooper's party...

Ice cream after his ad photo shoot.

Graham's birthday party!

I love this picture!

Still at Graham's party...

TWINS! Alex will now say, "Mom, do you want to take my picture?" or "Mom, take my picture with... or doing this..." Guess he's used to it by now!:)

Practicing for his photo shoot as Mario!

Tristan's 1st Birthday!

These aren't in any order but I had to put my precious nephew, Tristan, on here! He turned one March 23rd and we went up for his birthday party the weekend before. He was all decked out in Cookie Monster! I think he had a great time. I know Alex and Avery had fun playing with his toys, eating his bday cake, opening their goody bags, and pulling the strings from his pinata:).

The doting grandmothers.

Tristan and his mom, Nan.

Birthday boy!

D-Dot (Nan's mom) and Tristan.

Candy time! Alex loved this part!

Getting help with her goody bag.

Avery loved her goody bag-can't you tell?

It was like she was on stage when she stood in front of the fireplace. One of Russell's friends was taking pictures for them and every time he was close by and she was on "stage" she smiled and stood still for him.

Trying to pull a string from the pinata!

Peekaboo!

Checking out his presents...

Playing at Jack and Paige's house

The Friday of Spring Break Kristi had us over to play. I wished I had taken a picture of her cul-de-sac. It was like a yard sale/home daycare. There were so many toys it was crazy!

Avery had a blast! She hardly stopped moving the whole day.

She walked around barefoot most of the day and wanted these knee pads on the last hour or so we were there:).

This is what Alex did most of the day...it's not that I didn't take pictures of him but the boy loves sports! He did jump in the bouncy house some and ride some of the toys but this is where he usually was.

Alex's soccer game

March 10th Alex had his first soccer game of the season! Avery was just as excited as he was:) He has done really well this year and is so glad that his friend, Jack, is on his team. They have a good time at practice and the games. TONIGHT Alex had a soccer game and he scored his first goal ever!!! We were so excited and proud of him(I hope he's not mad at me when I tell him I missed it because I was talking to a lady I used to teach with in Bham):) The last two weeks we had decided to take his Explorer away from him the afternoon before the game and tell him he can't have it unless he kicks the ball. Last week, he kicked it and this week a goal! He is now running faster than I've ever seen him. He would always just run in the back of the pack chasing the ball. Good Job Alex!

Ready to head out to the game. Avery looks like she is practicing for Alex's ad...more on that later.
