Summer Days of April are beginning...

Summer Snow days have begun...

He looks like he's in a "Summer snow daze":)

Miles, Luke, Mack, Tyler, Anderson, and Alex headed to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (I'm not sure what they are all looking at over to the side).

Tyler, Alex, and Anderson... Mack's sister was a squirrel in the play and the boys asked me every two minutes when the squirrels were coming out!

Alex's self portrait he drew for his kindergarten folder. He is not going to be my art boy. He barely takes anytime to draw or color something on his work. I have to say he gets it honest...I never liked to draw either.

Can you tell what Avery's favorite color is?? As I was packing for St. Thomas I realized how apparent it was.

DarDar and Grandaddy's visit

Mom and Dad came in town for the weekend to watch one of Alex's baseball games. As much as I try not to plan stuff we always seem to have too much to do! I think even if they stayed for a week we would have too much to do.

Avery is really into cooking and "helping" in the kitchen these days. She wants her apron on and is willing to do most anything as long as her hands "don't get yucky."

While the girls were baking, Alex and Grandaddy were playing baseball on the Wii. I'm sure Grandaddy was getting beat!
Breanna and Avery at Alex's baseball game. Pretty much all of the boys on the team have a younger brother or sister and they all play pretty well together.
After the game they like to run the bases!
We had an ice cream party because the game before this one they only had three strikeouts. I tell you these boys are good! Case in point-the Yankees were the YMCA undefeated champions! How cool is that? This was a really good group of boys! Alex had a fun season!
Dad had to have some ice cream too!
The girls just make themselves right at home...

Alex playing pitcher.
After lunch we went to see the dragon boat races. The boats didn't race a very long way so we weren't too close to them. There was also, lots of downtime between races so the kids had fun skipping rocks with Grandaddy to kill some time..

After naptime, we went to play at a park that the kids always ask me to go play at. It is one of those parks that we always pass "on our way to go somewhere." They were exhausted so we didn't stay very long.

See? I knew they were tired! She never does this!
