Easter Eggs!

The pictures are out of order and I don't have the patience to fix them right now-sorry!:) A couple of Saturdays before Easter, John was off, and so we dyed some eggs. Here is Alex with his handiwork! He loved doing this. Before we got started he asked John, "Daddy, what color do you want?" It was so funny-because I wasn't sure if he would get into it or not.
They stayed like this for a week because by the end of this "dying" day they were all cracked from me dropping them in to boil them and Alex dropping them on the counter or chair. They never even saw an Easter basket!:(

Putting stickers on the eggs. John and I have decided we are "purists" and don't really like the sticker look. But Alex did.

Alex loved knocking the eggs around with the spoon to dye them all over.

He is a HUGE fan of Easter Egg hunting! We have hunted eggs in our closet, bathroom, bedroom, his room, kitchen, living room, front yard, and a little wooded lot across the street, pretty much EVERYWHERE!! He was definitely ready for the church egg hunt.
