This is Alex's first baseball practice. We still had one or two soccer games when baseball practice started but he was so over soccer and was definitely ready for baseball. He loves it-the practices, the games (he's had one), and oh, the uniform (more on that later).
Coach Brett is his coach and he is great with the boys. Practice is organized and not complete chaos like it could be with 3 and 4 yr old boys. Alex and his friend, Brenner, are getting some hitting instruction from Coach Brett.
Here are all the boys lining up to run bases. They are hilarious, as I'm sure you can imagine, being out on the field. Boys love dirt and this dirt is so fun! The dads are on the field telling them when and where to run and the moms are in the stands making sure they don't eat dirt or dump it on their heads or someone Else's.
This is batting practice. It's taken through the fence so it's not very good and I had Avery in the baby bjorn so she was right in the microphone:)
This video is of the boys getting into trouble because they are not paying attention. Of course, I notice Alex the most but his name is called a few times to do something in practice and he gets skipped because he is not paying attention and doesn't go where he is supposed to. Jonas is the coach's son-I think Alex gets him in trouble. Notice who starts spinning first.
They have practiced running bases alot, which is good. They are definitely getting the basics down with practice two times a week.
