Pennsylvania trip

John, Jimmy, Emily, and I headed up to Pennsylvania one weekend for the Penn St./Al football game and to visit Parker. I had never been to Pennsylvania and was looking forward to it. It was a fun trip! The kids stayed with my parents in Nashville and they even brought them back to us Sunday night. Emily riding Parker's bike in his house:)
Parker lived in Williamsport(he has since moved to Ohio) where the little league world series is played. Alex now has three shirts and a sweatshirt and Avery has a tshirt too, all from the LL World Series.
The mascot, I believe, of the World Series.
Wegmans-if you have never been here and are ever close to one you have to go. It is an unbelievable grocery store. I love Publix but this place is way better than Publix!
Heading in to the stadium...
Little did we know at the time that this would be Paterno's last season.
With the Liberty Bell.
This was a cool place we saw the first night we were out in Philadelphia...it was so long ago, but I think it was City Hall.
We met mom and dad in Birmingham on thursday to give them the kids before we headed to the airport.
We got home about 1am Monday morning due to flight delays because of rain. Alex went to school that Monday and we picked him up early for lunch. Many people have asked me about Dad. He has gone ziplining if that is any indication to his progress:). He is also done with rehab and is out running in the neighborhood again, with his ID bracelet on.
Eating cupcakes at Gigi's.
Playing baseball with Alex.
