Avery's 1st football game!

Avery went to her first football game, September 17th, and watched Alabama play (and beat!) North Texas. She didn't actually see them beat N. Texas because she only stayed for about 5 minutes of the first quarter. I'm not sure who was ready to go home first, Grammy or Avery:). We started the day by meeting up with her friend, Henley, at their tailgate.

After the girls checked out each other's game day attire they were ready to take a picture.

Alex pouted for a few moments because he really wanted someone to play football with him. He had planned out that Mr. Brad (Henley's Dad) would be on his team and play against Mrs. Chanda (Henley's mom) and I. Mr. Brad wasn't there when we first got there so his dream was shattered for a little while, but thankfully, Henley's grandfather threw with him a little bit.

We bought Alex his own binoculars. He doesn't use them the whole game, but at the beginning he uses them a lot. This is the lady we have been sitting by for 10 years (longer, I know, but that's as long as I've been going). She is super sweet to Alex and he will talk her ear off about everything imaginable if there is no one else sitting by her.
