Big Al's Birthday Party!

So one Friday night, we went to the Alabama volleyball game an hour early. The kids got volleyballs and water bottles and had a great time. BUT the real reason we went was for this...

An invitation to BIG AL'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!
He is in the Big Al's kids club and gets in free to some sporting events and then they have a big family day out on the football field at the end and if you were one of the first five kids to an event you got to go to Big Al's birthday party before you went out on the field. I KNEW Alex would love it. Alex thinks they are best friends and I knew he would love the extra time with Big Al.
Before the family day event we had a birthday party to go to. Avery loved her fairy wings! She stayed with Mimi while we went to the football field. John had to work so it was just the two of us.

When we got there Big Al hadn't made his appearance yet so we sat and waited on him.

Playing at the party!

When Big Al came out all of the kids were so excited! Alex couldn't stop jumping! They were all screaming "Big Al, Big Al!" Alex fell down and pretended to be tackled right beside BA and and BA didn't notice him. Alex got up and looked at me very hurt and said, "He didn't see me get tackled." So silly!

We took pictures with Big Al before singing Happy Birthday to him and eating cake. As soon as pictures were done Alex was ready to leave and head down to the field. I said, "you don't want any cake?" He said, "no momma, and I don't want you to have any either." :) He couldn't wait to get out on the field, so we left without another thought of Big Al.

Who elses locker...but JULIO'S!

Just like Bear Bryant, right?

After he ran up and down the field 100 times, (10 yards is not good enough for him...he has to get in the endzone everytime!) we went and got us some yogurt and of course, he had to top it off with red and white M&M's.

When we got back to Mimi's, Uncle David was there and he and Avery were putting rocks on their heads.

So, of course, Alex had to join in.
Then we started telling them about Big Al's party and Alex pretended he was Big Al and started taking pictures with us and opening a birthday present.

As we were heading home to take naps, John called and said he was at the stadium, so we headed back there again.

Avery got her pictures taken on the field and had a great time at her first visit to the field.

Alex does not care who you are, he will tackle you!
