Barnyard with DarDar and Grandaddy
Mom and Dad came in town for the Vandy/AL football game. Alex was out of school Friday for Veterans day so we headed to the barnyard!
Feeding the pig.
Holding the goat.
On Cocoa.
Avery loved brushing Trigger.
She wanted to feed the chickens one piece at a time.
Avery on Cocoa.
Alex and Grandaddy had a fun time playing basketball and trying to make trick shots off of the playground equipment.
Feeding ducks.
Avery had to watch DarDar do it and then she decided she could try it on her own.
On the hayride to pick out our pumpkins.
Alex's Titanic picture (with his hair blowing in the wind created by the fast tractor).

Our last day with the Caden and Larkin
One last time (sniff, sniff) we got together at our neighborhood park with Caden and all of our friends. I only took a few pictures. I am so mad I didn't get any pictures of Larkin, but she wouldn't sit still:)
They are good friends. It makes me sad that they don't get to grow up together.
I guess Avery felt she would fall if she didn't hold tight to Caden.
Brent, Olivia, Avery, Alex, and Caden. Avery wanted Olivia to look at the camera.
So she turned her head! So bossy!
Sarah and Avery swinging.
We miss you Carlsons!
September Fun Days!
The first football game of the year-Alabama vs. Kent St.
He loves listening to the headphones!
Watching youtube with Grammy. They love watching a video of an elephant jumping on a trampoline. Crazy!
Avery in Kindermusik. She loves going and every time we pass the church where it is held she yells, "Momma, Kindermusik!"
Cupcakes with Caden for her Momma's birthday.
They are such good friends. We miss Caden and Larkin (and their mom and dad too!) They moved to Oklahoma at the end of September:( We will have to go visit them soon.
Watching an Alabama volleyball game.
Alex and Brent at Caden's birthday party.
The birthday girl! Caden had to have her 5th birthday party a little early since she was leaving Alabama before she turned 5 in October.
Alex talks about her all the time and wonders what they do in Oklahoma.:)
I realized the other day I had a lot of pictures of Alex at the fountains at the mall. I don't have as many as Avery. We made up for that this month.
Her favorite ride!
Heading to the footbal game.

The Fair with Papa
One Friday night Papa took us to the fair! We had a good time...I think I love the fair as much as the kids. They loved the flying fish-it went pretty fast and you know those fair rides are sometimes not the most reliable. I thought Avery was going to pop out a few times.
Avery wanted to ride every ride she possibly could. And it made it worse if Alex could ride it and she wasn't tall enough. She would cry and we would have to go find her something else to do while Papa and Alex rode. She loved the scrambler!
Papa and Alex on the scrambler too.
On the space train.
Avery playing her pick the duck game.
Alex wanted to throw darts at balloons. He did really well!
The prize picture-it's the best I could do because Alex didn't want to be still. He got a red crayon and she got a blow up Dora! WOO HOO!
Thanks Papa! We had a fun time!

Elly's visit
In late September Elly, came to visit us. She is our cousin from Atlanta, who has now moved to Florida. They always have a great time playing together! We went to CHOM one day and played and also went to the mall to ride the cars and have a milkshake at Chick-fil-a.
Playing dress up!
Avery loves feeding the horsey.
They looked like a gang walking around the fountains with their drinks. Hilarious!
They were singing a lovely song at Mimis.
We will miss seeing you at Christmas! Come visit us again soon!
