The birthday boy with his birthday brownie!
We've always decorated his room the night before his birthday, but since mom and dad were here and Alex was sleeping in our room we decided to decorate the kitchen:). Doesn't he look so happy?
January 13th we went to Dr. Phillips for Alex's 4 year check up. He weighed 44 1/2 lbs which puts him in the 95th percentile. He was 43 1/2 inches tall which puts him in the 97th percentile. None of those stats were surprising to us!:) We get asked all the time if he is 5.
At Dr. Phillips office, playing his explorer, of course!
I just wanted to write down a few things that I didn't want to forget about my sweet little 4 year old boy so bear with me and know that the next part of this post is ALL ABOUT ALEX!
Alex loves Alabama sports and anything to do with them. Right now is basketball season and he pays attention to everything from the score to the cheerleaders to the dance team to what all the numbers mean on the score board. He knows who the playere are by their numbers and his favorite is Ben Eblen.
He doesn't really care what he wears yet. Sometimes, he'll say I don't want to wear that or I don't like that but that is just usually, because he doesn't want to get dressed and change out of his jersey he slept in. Yes, he still wears jerseys all the time and runs around the house in his underwear and jersey. He is still a pretty good eater-just NOT always healthy. He loves to eat hot dogs, popcorn, turkey sandwiches, kiwi, blueberries, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, cereal bars, ritz crackers and oatmeal.
He has started soccer practice and will start his 2nd year of t-ball this April. He loves playing baseball, basketball and football-in the house or outside!
It snowed on his birthday! John's office didn't open till later so we got to give Alex his birthday present.
He got the game Whackamole. It is the smaller version of hitting the animal when it pops up that used to be at Showbiz.
We just had a laid back day at home playing games because of the snow and ice. Mom and Dad left after lunch and then later that night, Grammy and Papa brought over their gift.
Trains and train tracks!
After church Sunday, when the snow started.
Pop the Pig with Grandaddy.
Playing uno with Dardar.
